The Aucoin Micro Farm

The Aucoin Micro Farm is located in Denham Springs, Louisiana.  Just East of Baton Rouge.  We are a small farm that raises Standard Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Chickens, Pekin Ducks and Californian Rabbits.

When you look at our Standard Blue Laced Red Wyandottes you can see why we fell in love with them!  They will bring beauty and life to your Farm, or even Urban backyard.  They are great layers and the friendliest chickens you wall ever meet.  Our Wyandottes come from a Foley Cross line from Chicago.  They have beautiful colors and a very nice type.

We gathered our Californian Rabbit breeding stock from several local breeders.  These rabbits get big quick, and pack on the pounds, most weigh 5 lbs. or more at 12 weeks of age!  They are a gentle breed of rabbit, so they also make excellent pets.  Our rabbits are great mothers and great companions.  We usually have kits on the ground all year around.  These rabbits also make great show animals.  So weather your looking to show your rabbits, have a friendly pet, or if your interested in living a more sustainable life and raising them for meat, these rabbits are the ideal rabbit!
